Institutional Data

The Office of Institutional Research collects, analyzes, and reports on institutional data vital to the planning efforts and operation of the University, as well as data that are interesting to the public. In the spirit of community and transparency, we publish much of that data here.

Institutional Data

The Common Data Set contains general information about the University, enrollment and persistence, admissions, academic offerings and policies, student life, annual expenses, financial aid, faculty and class sizes, and degrees conferred.
Current and historical data on student enrollment, degrees and completions, courses, admission, tuition and required fees, and employees at Brown.
Our surveys cover a wide range of topics that include satisfaction with services, experiences in the concentration, use of the open curriculum, climate and diversity, and participation in activities.
